Chwastox. Set the weed a limit!

CIECH Sarzyna, Poland's largest manufacturer of plant protection products, is initiating a further stage of the marketing campaign of its flagship product against weed, bearing the brand name Chwastox.

Advertisements for the weed control product that enjoys the trust of three generations of Polish farmers could be seen on television, in Polish state television and in Polsat, on-line, as well as in industry press. The key slogan of the campaign is 'Set the weed a limit'. Chwastox is Poland's most popular weed control product series, for years enjoying the appreciation of professional and amateur farmers. The modern formula of the product is perfect in terms of protection both of cereals, as well as care for grass.

-The main purpose of our activities is to remind Polish farmers and gardeners that they do not need to seek better ways to control weed from foreign manufacturers. The best possible product, suited to their needs and expectations, was created in Poland. It's here that Chwastox comes from – reminds Chairman of the Board of CIECH Sarzyna, Mariusz Grelewicz.

The planned marketing activities cover a 15-second television ad and an right-second sponsor sign, shown in March on Polish state television and in Polsat, an on-line banner campaign on agricultural websites, advertisements in agricultural papers (published from February to May) and a broad variety of interesting presentation materials in industry specialist stores. The campaign was designed and implemented by the advertising agency WALK. It is worth noting that beginning with the new year, the labels of Chwastox packages changed significantly.

Prior packages of plant protection products, also those manufactured by CIECH Sarzyna, were very technical and dominated by text. The new labels of Chwastox stress was made to improve clear legibility and present key data on the product, such as its mode of use, doses and advantages, using intuitive icons and a clear graphical layout.
